Who we are ?

We are Ron and Marjolein, we come from the Netherlands. We like to play volleyball and another big hobby is almost everything that has to do with cooking and baking (and then eating it together????). Together we have 2 beautiful daughters who have postponed the choice to emigrate for several years.

In the Netherlands we had a busy social life with fine work where we could express our passion. We love nature, the outdoors and good food. We love to travel and are always looking for the perfect stay.

Unfortunately, we no longer felt at home in our hurried way of lifes and in April 2018 we followed our hearts and decided to start our search for a home in Italy. We wanted to realize our dream, by starting a guest house. By taking this step we feel that we are returning to our strength and radiate this as well.

Le Marche feels like coming home to us! We were looking for a combination of beach and mountains, from active and relaxed, to authentic villages where you could still feel the real Italy and yet everything is within reach. All this has Le Marche. The people are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Everything is to visit within about an hour. Every season has its charm. There are 3 airports about 1 hour away from us so a good connection to the Netherlands (Eindhoven, Rotterdam, Dusseldorf/Weeze (D) and Charleroi (B)) is guaranteed.

We took a while but we feel we have found a suitable name for our guest house. ‘Casale’ means farm, ‘di Maro’ is an amalgamation of our names. We chose ‘di Maro’ because this is a reference to individuality: being yourself!

Casual Enjoyment is central to us. This stems from not having to, but wanting to be on your own. You do what you think is important. Le Marche is a region that makes us feel authentic Italy. Nature and culture, but especially hospitality, warm encounters, casualness and relaxation. Relaxation by going on the rhythm of the day or actively on the road, to enjoy in the evening with a nice glass of wine you realize that you are very much enjoying what you have and you feel happy.
